The Model 308A is designed for use in agriculture and in objects where water is used for cleaning.

Structure:
The robust construction ensures the longest service life even under difficult and harsh environmental conditions. The CRI CRI 308A is subject to a 2-year MO-EL quality guarantee. This does not apply to the special lamps, which should be replaced annually due to the aging of the inner coating in order to ensure the best catching results.
The galvanized protective grille has an earthing function, which ensures the safety of the user in the event of a short circuit between the high voltage and the protective grille caused by cleaning with water pressure. If the protective grille is opened, a safety switch switches the device off. The plastic parts are made of self-extinguishing ABS.

Lamps:
The model 308A is equipped with two special UV lamps with an output of 40 W each and has an effective range of 15 - 18 m

Security:
IPX4 protection against splash water, certified by IMQ. This protection against water and the robust construction make the device ideal for permanent use in wet areas.

Electric insect traps work according to a simple principle: a fluorescent tube in the 365 nm range, which is very attractive for insects, attracts them. On the way to the light, the pests have to pass through an electrode grid that is charged with high voltage (usually several thousand volts). When they approach these electrodes, the insects are killed quickly and safely.
